NCAA Squares - Basketball Tournament

MJCC NCAA March Basketball Tournament Squares 2021 - CANCELLED
March 15-April 5

Think Super Bowl Squares game. Buy a square that will be randomly assigned to you and will last for the entire College Basketball Tournament. Multiple squares may be purchased. Horizontal squares represent the score of the better seed in a game, vertical represent the lesser seed. Winning squares are determined by looking at the final digit of each team's final score and finding the intersecting square. All proceeds will benefit the MJCC Camp Scholarship Fund.

How to play:
• Ages 21+
• Members only
• $25 per square
• Deadline is Monday, March 15
• We will livestream the square assignments on Tuesday, March 16, at 12:00pm and post the final grid online

• Round 1 $5/game
• Round 2 $15/game
• Sweet 16 $25/game
• Elite 8 $50/game
• Final Four $125/game
• Championship $250

How it works:
• Players are randomly assigned squares.
• Horizontal (better seed) and vertical numbers will be randomly drawn. If teams are the same seed, designated home team will be considered the better seed.
• Winning square is determined by looking at the final digit (i.e. 60 or 101) of each team’s final score and finding the intersecting square.
• Final squares will be posted online
• All payouts will be made at conclusion of the tournament.

Rules:
• Minimum 50 squares must be purchased, otherwise all money will be refunded.
• Squares are non-refundable if minimum is met.
• If more than 100 squares are purchased there will be multiple boards.
• In the event all squares are not sold, 8% of total pot will be distributed evenly amongst all of the winners within each round for Rounds 1 through Elite 8; for Final Four and Championship, 10% will be awarded each round.
• If no winner occurs during a round, that round’s prize money will be added to the next round. (i.e., each of the four Elite 8 games lands on an open square, 18% of the pot will be awarded during the Final Four.)
• If the Championship Game lands on an open square, the winner will be randomly selected from all participants.
