The Memphis Jewish Community Center will begin a series of new engagement programs for young families through a new group called, “JFamily”. Part of the JFamily initiative at the MJCC, is to provide programming that will allow parents with young children to connect with one another and build community in a safe, welcoming environment. The Wendy and Avron B. Fogelman Jewish Family Service and the Center of Jewish Life and Learning at the MJCC have partnered to provide family and parenting resources along with meaningful Jewish content for the programs. Families of all backgrounds and faiths are welcome.
J Family Coffee & Play (a Parent & Me Series)
Ages 2-4
Come together for a weekly parent-and-me series filled with music and movement, craft-based play, a mini-Shabbat or Havdalah experience, and snacks for both parent and child. Each class will nurture friendship, curiosity, respect, and Jewish identity for children and their parents. Led by Sara Kaplan. No registration required. All are welcome.
