Performances: November 12–15

Rehearsal and Performance Information:
Rehearsal Schedule to be finalized based on casting. Rehearsal is slated to begin September 15. Most rehearsals will be Monday-Thursday, 6:00-9:00pm. A Sunday rehearsal is possible.

About the play:
1997 Tony Winner for Best Play, The Last Night of Ballyhoo is set in 1939 Atlanta, Georgia. The story centers on the Freitag’s, a family of elitist German Jews and their thoughts and feelings about Ballyhoo, the local social event of the season. As they prepare and pontificate Gone with the Wind is premiering down the street and Hitler’s is invading Poland as close or as far away as that may feel based on relations.

The Last Night of Ballyhoo is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Dramatists Play Service.
