Memphis Mile

It's so popular we had to do another one!

WHAT: The MJCC’s annual Memphis Mile is making its return Sunday, August 17! The race is open to ages 10+.

WHEN: Sunday, August 17, starting at 8:00 am. Heats go off every hour. 

WHO: Masters Swimmers, Fitness Swimmers, Age Group Swimmers, and Triathletes.

FORMAT: Heats will be seeded CO-ED by time but scored separately. There will be 2 swimmers per lane. Swimmers will swim side by side. No circle swimming. After your swim you are required to stay and count for the next heat. This event is limited to the first 100 entrants. Any age group with 10 or more swimmers will be split into 5-year increments. Results will be posted on this webpage.

AGE GROUPS: 10-14 • 15-19 • 20-24 • 25-29 • 30-34 • 35-39 • 40-44 • 45-49 • 50-54 • 55-59 • 60-64 • 65-69 • 70-74
75-79 • 80+

DEADLINE: Entries must be in by Friday, August 15. After that time, you must call the Member Services Desk (901) 761-0810 to register. They will advise if slots are available.

FEE: $50 Community / $30 Members (Please make checks payable to Memphis Jewish Community Center.)
