Blue Dolphins Swim Team
The MJCC Blue Dolphin Swim Team is a great introduction to competitive swimming. The Blue Dolphins compete in the Mid-South Swimming Conference and will take part in swim meets throughout the year. Members of the swim team build strength and endurance in this program. The swimmers learn all four strokes, flip turns and starts. Good sportsmanship and the value of working cooperatively as a member of a team are important components. Work habits formed are the basis of future achievements. Children must participate in a minimum of two practices a week, but they are welcome and encouraged to attend as many practices as they want. Groups and times designed to ensure specialized and focused attention on training for all! There are swim meets throughout the year where they can use their improved strokes, such as Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Freestyle, with racing dives and flip turns.
Ages are a recommendation. Flexibility in scheduling available.
Swim Team Guidelines:
- Each person must have a signed MJCC Covid-19 Waiver
- There are no refunds
- Locker rooms are open
- Swimmers must be able to complete a lap of both freestyle and backstroke without stopping and without assistance before joining the swim team

Blue Dolphin Summer Swim Social NEW!
Ages 4–18
Join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of our Fall/Spring Blue Dolphin Swim Team and plan ahead for a fantastic summer swim season. This will also be a great opportunity to meet our staff and ask any questions you may have about our Summer Swim Team.

Summer Swim Team Pre-fin NEW!
Ages 4–12
This is for the swimmers who want experience being on a team, but haven't quite gotten to the point where they are swimming a full 25 yards yet. In our Pre-fin Blue Dolphin Swim Team swimmers will work on reading a workout and a more technique focused swim practice. Once your swimmer is able to consistently swim 25 yards either freestyle or back stroke they will be able to compete at swim meets with our Blue Dolphin Swim Team. Participation in swim meets is optional, but encouraged.
