Traditional Camp is perfect for campers that want to experience a little bit of everything at MJCC Day Camp!
Paeel is Hebrew for “ACTIVE” and is our Traditional Camp Unit for entering 4th-6th graders.
Paeel is the place for campers to shine and build a sense of teamwork and camaraderie. Each activity is the perfect combination of new challenges and beloved camp traditions, creating exciting programming
each day. Groups are divided by gender.
Swimming
Paeel campers will swim twice daily. Campers will have iSwim (instructional swim) each morning provided by MJCC Swim School and free swim in the afternoon.
Daily Activities
Paeel campers participate in arts and crafts, sports, nature, Israeli Culture, music, camp games, singing, gaga and more!
Dress-up Days
Each week we have a dress-up day on Friday for campers to have fun and show their camp spirit!
Late Nights
Campers will participate in two late nights!
Weeks 3, 7
Adventures or Experience
All Yofi, Osher and Paeel campers will participate in different adventures and excursions throughout the summer!
Weeks 1-9
