In Daniel Lamontagne’s workshops, attendees will work on deepening their meditation and connecting with their inner selves through the divine energies of the heart. They will also explore the practical usage of subtle energies in healing the self and others, sensing, and awakening intuition, and meditation in movement. Ages 16 and older.

The Memphis JCC is hosting a Mindful Meditation Circle on Tuesday evenings from 7:30pm to 8:30pm in the Senior Lounge. Silent meditation quiets the mind, relaxes the body, and helps develop the non-judgmental awareness called mindfulness. Some researchers have found that meditation can lower blood pressure, improve circulation, reduce pain, and enhance the immune system. Many find that meditation eases the pressures and stress of daily life. Individuals with varying levels of experience and from diverse meditation practices are welcome.
