Specialty Fitness Classes provide a unique exercise class experience with specialized equipment. Each class is instructed by certified Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Instructors.
Boxers condition for optimal agility, speed, muscular endurance, accuracy, balance, hand-eye coordination, footwork and overall strength to defend against and overcome opponents. At Rock Steady, the opponent is Parkinson’s disease. Parkinson’s causes a loss in many of the same elements that boxers condition to improve. And published medical research has shown that forced, intense exercise can reduce, reverse and delay Parkinson’s symptoms. We also know that a diversity of symptoms needs to be addressed simultaneously.
In comparison to other sports, boxing is the most physically demanding styles of training, according to a study conducted by ESPN and by people who have done it! But in addition to being an intense, diverse form of training, boxing is also an incredible stress reliever, confidence booster and FUN!

Pull out your gym mat and get ready to do a series of movements that will stabilize and strengthen your core.
This class is designed to improve balance, range of motion, and stability. Participants will perform exercises that will strengthen your core and enhance coordination as well as modern fitness. Open to any fitness level.

HIIT Camp with Callie
End 2019 and start 2020 off right with Functional HIIT Training in 60 minutes! The class will include a warm up and cool down in addition to the workout (strength & cardio based). Leave class feeling confident in knowing you’ve had all your fitness needs met. Limited spots are available. Be on the lookout for an occasional evening class!

Boxing for Boomers
Looking to intensify your cardio? This class will cover agility, hand/eye coordination, balance, and core work! Join us for this non-contact boxing class. Not required but it is recommended to have your own gloves after the first few sessions.

6 Week Workout Beginners Kickoff
This program is designed by our personal trainer, Callie, specifically for beginners. You will learn the basics and be able to use equipment safely and effectively. We will build your confidence in a gym setting and give you the tools you need to reach your goals for the New Year.
