Mindful Meditation Circle Thursdays • 7:30–8:30pm • Free Silent meditation quiets the mind, relaxes the body, and helps develop mindfulness. Many find that meditation eases the pressures and stress of daily life. Individuals with varying levels of experience and from diverse meditation practices are welcome. Ballroom Dance with Arman Sahakyan Thursdays • 7:00–8:00pm $12 Non-member / $10 Member drop-in fee (pay by the class) Arman Sahakyan is an award-winning, dancer, choreographer and teacher. Originally from Armenia, he began his dance training at the age of six in both ballet and ballroom. He continued his training in Moscow, eventually becoming a professional competitive dancer and dance coach and choreographer. Having competed in over 150 dance competitions, Arman has become a Champion in his own right. Since moving to Memphis, Tennessee ten years ago, he has continued his professional dancing and teaching, starting his own dance studio, Dancing With Arman. In addition to teaching and competing, he has found time to share his knowledge and love of dance with others. He has choreographed and directed performances and shows in and around Memphis. He has performed in and consulted creatively with the most recent MidSouth International Festival. No partner required.
