Junior Kindergarten

For those children who turn 4 years old by August 15th of the current year.

Our Junior Kindergarten curriculum is designed to prepare each student to enter Kindergarten confident and ready both academically and socially. Language, Math, Small and Large Motor Skills, Science, Self-Help Skills, and Judaica are all integrated in to the exploration of interesting themes. For those children who are ready to advance quickly, there are ongoing enrichment activities readily available.

Junior Kindergarten students participate in weekly enrichment classes:

The Junior Kindergarten teachers utilize the Lippincott Phonics Program and the Letter People Reading Program. The goal of these programs is to systematically build independent readers. Math is taught utilizing the Everyday Math Program.
